Volunteer Recognition

Yesterday's Volunteer Recognition Luncheon went great!

Here are some highlights:

Stephanie did a beautiful job decorating the tables for spring! (Even though it felt a lot like WINTER yesterday!)

Me presenting Peggy Eggleston with her 15 year award.

Me with intern Erin Dick Christine, who received the Student Award.

Volunteer of the Year Dick Conde with our librarian, Karl Ash.

Board President Bob Belden presented Board member Bob Leibensperger with the McKinley Award.

Malone University's women's concert choir entertained us.

The women's choir brought special guests Tineo (not sure how to spell that) who were amazing!

Everyone had a wonderful time!

If you're interested in joining our volunteer team, contact Volunteer Coordinator Stephanie Span at 330-455-7043! Our volunteers all love being here, because our museum is a great thing to be a part of. We have a lot fun, while providing excellent history and science experiences for our community.

There are lots of volunteer opportunities, ranging from front line jobs as a Discover World or history docent or in the museum shoppe, to more behind-the-scenes options in the curatorial department or in our research library.

There's no excuse for being bored or lonely! Come join us! Training for all volunteer positions is provided. Call today.
