White House exhibits installation!

We started installing the new traveling exhibits from the White House Historical Association yesterday in the Keller Gallery!

James Hoban:  White House Architect

There was a bit of a learning curve with the James Hoban exhibit because it did not come with an instructions.  We laid out all the parts and spent about an hour looking at it and talking about how we thought it might work.  We finally cracked the code, and now we know what to expect as we build it!

I'm also using Kodak PhotoTex paper in my plotter for a fourth mini-exhibit called McKinley's White House.  It is printing the second to last panel as I write this!  I wanted to show our visitors what the White House looked like when McKinley lived there, using images from our archives.

The exhibits open with a FREE reception on FRIDAY MAY 31 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.  Reservations appreciated!  Call 330-455-7043.
