Yesterday afternoon I received a FedEx package from Split Rock with all the object labels in it!
So this morning we put all the object labels inside the cases. I added a few plexi risers in a few cases so everything wasn't just flat. It looks so much nicer now!
An installer is coming next week from Split Rock with the last of the larger items from our punch list. Emails have been flying back and forth between Ohio and Minnesota for over a week! There were lots of final details to complete.
We will be ready for our opening events on September 25 and 26! We are getting closer every day. It takes a long time to finalize details of a five year project.

About Me
- Kim Kenney
- I have been the curator of the McKinley Presidential Library & Museum since October 2001. I have a BA in history with a minor in creative writing and an MA in history museum studies from the Cooperstown Graduate Program. I have written four books -- Canton: A Journey Through Time, Canton's West Lawn Cemetery, Canton's Pioneers in Flight, and Canton Entertainment.
