Bring Your Doll to Tea!

Another sweet doll currently on display in the Keller Gallery!

Preparations are falling into place for Tea with the Curator: "Bring Your Doll to Tea" on December 30 at 10:00 AM.

The hats came on Friday! They have big brims, which should be "fancy" for the kids to wear while they have their tea. We will have tulle, ribbons, and flowers available for participants to make their own hats!

We will make the hats first at a craft station, and then we will have our tea (and coffee or hot cocoa for those who don't want tea!). After that, we will read a children's story called Tea for Ruby by Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York (she knows a thing or two about taking tea!).

Following the story, we will go upstairs to the Keller Gallery exhibit A Doll's World to do a scavenger hunt. Then I will share some of my favorite dolls, and the kids can pick their favorites too!

It is going to be a fun event! Right now we are about half full, so if you'd like to sign up, please call 330-455-7043.

This tea is sponsored by Joyce Yut. Thanks Joyce!
